Tech Parent Night - Thursday, November 7, 2013

Please join us at either 6:00 p.m. or 6:45 p.m. in the cafeteria to learn about the one to one computer initiative for students that will begin second semester. Both sessions will be the same, so please choose the one that is more convenient for you. We will also share our progress and ask for your input for goals for the 2014-15 school year.

Class lists will be posted starting on Friday, July 26.

Meet & Greet will be held on Thursday, August 1.  Students and parents can stop by anytime between 4:30 to 6 p.m.meet their teacher and drop off school supplies.  New Parent Orientation will follow in the cafeteria at 6 p.m.

No Summer School for 2013

Summer School will not be offered this year due to an upcoming construction project - the roof for B, C, & D Buildings will be repaired and repainted this summer. Contractors will begin work in March or April and continue through August.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Spirit Week - Food Drive

Thank you for showing school spirit and participating in our food drive this week!  Your donations went to the Hawaii Food Bank to help families in need.  Mahalo!

Literacy Parent Night

On Tuesday, 2/19, parents were invited to learn about reading strategies to help their children improve reading fluency and comprehension.  This event was open to families with children who attend our reading intervention and tutoring program.  For those who came, thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules!

Hi-5 Recycling Drive

Thank you for bringing your cans and bottles for our latest Hi-5 Recycling Drive on February 13th.  Money raised from this activity will go towards supporting student activities or technology.  Mahalo!

HECO Energy Resolution

4th Grader Casey Morishige was recently recognized by HECO for her HECO Energy Resolution! Casey's drawing has won her classroom a Mad Science presentation!  Congratulations!

Kindergarten Registration for SY 2013-14

Kindergarten registration for the 2013-14 school year will be conducted Monday through Friday on the following dates/times:

Feb. 1-15 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Feb. 19-28 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

If you have a child who will be 5 years old by December 31, 2013, please take advantage of the February registration time frame. Registration for kindergarten will resume on June 12, 2013.
