Box Tops for Education

Mahalo to everyone who clipped box tops and turned them in to our PCNC office over the past few months.  Every little bit counts - and together we were able to earn $1500!  Mahalo to Melody Baltazar and Darlene Kurashima (our PCNC coordinators) for collecting, counting, bundling, packing, shipping and redeeming all of those box tops.  Way to go!

Mauka Milers

Mauka Milers is club for students where they walk, jog or run during 2nd recess (iPE).  Participating students have a special card where they punch a hole for each lap (.25 mile).  Students get a chain necklace and earn special charms for each benchmark - 5 mi., 10 mi., 15 mi., 20 mi., 25 mi., and 26.2 (the length of a marathon!).  Last week, Mauka Milers began for students in grades 3-5.  Students in grades K-2 will be starting soon!
