Book Fair - Mahalo!




A great big MAHALO to our students, teachers, parents, and the Mililani Community for making the Mauka Book Fair a great success!  We will be using our profits to update our collection and purchase technology for the library.  You also generoulsy donated books to the American Cancer Society Childhood Cancer Program "Familes Can*Sur*Vive Camp"   that is held each year in November.  We also had a great parent volunteer crew to make this Book Fair possible - thank you to all of them.

CHARACTER COUNTS! Ethics of American Youth Survey: Josephson Institute's Report Card

LOS ANGELES (October 26, 2010) — According to a new study by the Josephson Institute of Ethics (the largest ever undertaken of the attitudes and conduct of high school students), half of all high school students (50 percent) admit they bullied someone in the past year, and nearly half (47 percent) say they were bullied, teased, or taunted in a way that seriously upset them in the past year. The study reports the responses from 43,321 high school students.
